Taxidermist Mounts Pheasant on Stone Ledge

Golden sunset light pools across a rough-hewn stone ledge inside a quiet room. A taxidermist positions a pheasant with iridescent bronze and rust feathers into a tall glass display case. The bird's neck curves sharply, its eye glassy and fixed. Winter light strikes the glass, creating sharp reflections that mirror the empty space around the case. Deep shadows stretch along the pale walls, showing the stillness of the moment. The stone surface beneath the case shows grain and dust. Negative space frames the activity, leaving the edges of the room dark and undefined. A faint reflection of the bird's tail feathers appears on the glass front.
