Pale dawn light slips across the concrete floor of a backstage changing corridor in Kot Addu, illuminating a tailor standing before a rain-marked window pane. The tailor works with precision, pinning white basting threads along the sharp creases of dark trousers hanging in the center. Stained glass or grime on the pane distorts the morning sky outside, casting cool blue tones that mix with the warm glow of a single lamp settling into the corner shadows. The fabric drapes heavily, showing the texture of midsummer heat despite the indoor cool. Negative space frames the figure, showing the solitary nature of the task. A final shadow stretches from the tailor's hand, resting against the rough wall surface.
