Sword Swallower at Fair Twilight

Dim window light falls through the high opening, mixing with the warm glow of interior lamps to illuminate a performer standing on a painted display ledge. The subject wears a vibrant costume with intricate patterns, holding a long metallic blade vertically against the chest. Polished surfaces of the sword catch small, sharp highlights that cut through the shadows. Behind the figure, the painted backdrop features bold, faded colors typical of a fairground display.
