Surreal Tailor Ironing Pleats Under String Lights

Steam rises in thick, white ribbons from a heavy iron hovering over sharply pleated fabric on a wooden worktable. The table surface is scattered with white chalk dust and a pair of silver shears resting near the edge. Above, a string of warm lights casts a golden glow that reflects off the metal iron and the smooth folds of the cloth. Behind the workspace, a corridor stretches deep into the darkness, lined on both sides by identical, closed doors that should conceal rooms but instead form an endless, impossible pattern. Cool night light falls through a window, creating sharp, linear shadows that cut across the fabric and the floor. The iron's handle glints with a cold metallic sheen against the warm steam.
