Soft gray light falls through rain-streaked glass, blurring the spinning chrome drums of washing machines inside a Surat laundromat. Water droplets rest on the window surface, distorting the metallic reflections of the rotating machinery against the cool pre-dawn sky. A model stands on the wet sidewalk outside, her structured garments visible through the distorted view, positioned beside the glass.
