Street Tacos on Enamel Tray Before Dawn

Cool blue-gray morning light pours through a window, cutting through dust particles that hang in the air. A white enamel tray rests directly on the dark metal grid of a bakery cooling rack. Four street tacos sit centered on the tray, their corn tortillas soft and slightly puffed. Savory meats and fresh green cilantro fill the folds. The curved rim of the tray reflects a warm orange glow from the food, against the cool light falling across the scene. A small smear of red sauce sits at the edge of the enamel surface. The metal rack beneath shows a geometric pattern of intersecting bars. The light highlights the texture of the tortillas and the sheen on the meat.
