Snowboard Gate and Goggles at Dawn Light
Low sunlight strikes the horizon haze, casting long shadows across a steep hillside near Victoria Seychelles. A metal snowboard start gate stands rigid against the morning chill, its cold surface against the dry, sparse vegetation of the hillside. Beside the gate, a pair of rimed goggles rests on the ground, frost crystals clinging to the dark frame and fogged lens. Low-hanging clouds drift just above the grass, softening the sky into a pale grey gradient. The textures of the metal bars and the rough, frost-covered plastic speak to the preparation of a competitive athlete. A sharp shadow from the gate edge falls across the frozen grass blades in the immediate foreground.
