Soft, diffused light from an overcast early spring afternoon washes over a polished wooden desk in Ramat Gan. A sitar rests diagonally against a draped cushion, its carved gourd resonator catching the muted glow. The instrument's long neck extends toward the edge, while intricate metal frets gleam faintly against the warm wood. Clean surfaces dominate the view, with only the cushion's fabric folds and the sitar's taut strings breaking the minimal clutter. The light remains flat and even, casting no harsh shadows, yet highlighting the smooth curves of the gourd and the texture of the fabric beneath. One metal tuning peg reflects the pale sky above, anchoring the composition in quiet focus.
