Silky Handrail Glow in San Carlos School

Warm string lights cast a soft amber wash over a metal staircase handrail polished to a silky sheen by decades of student hands. Condensation beads along the nearby window glass, marking the wet season air inside the quiet San Carlos classroom. The handrail curves gently, its worn surface reflecting the amber glow against the cool blue twilight visible through the window. Dark shadows pool in the corners while the metal gleams where fingers have traced it repeatedly. One raindrop slides slowly down the condensation-covered pane, merging with the humid stillness of the evening. The texture of the metal contrasts sharply with the smooth, wet glass.
