Cool morning light falls through sheer curtains, casting warm interior shadows across rows of empty wooden desks in an art classroom near Palembang. Rain taps the skylight above the back rows, leaving faint streaks on the glass. Long leading lines formed by the desk arrangement draw toward the front of the hall. Students move quietly through the space, their presence filling the room slowly.
