Signet Ring in Luxor

A small, weathered signet ring rests on a rough limestone windowsill in Luxor, catching the soft, diffused light of early morning after a rain. The gold band is tarnished and scratched, its surface dull against the wet, pale stone that glistens with residual moisture from the recent downpour. Behind the ring, the open window frames a view of a narrow alleyway where water drips steadily from a clay roof tile onto the dusty ground below. One drop of water rests on the edge of the stone ledge, refracting the gray sky above.
