A Shikoku Ken sits upright on a textured fabric sofa, its coarse double coat catching the cool blue twilight filtering through sheer curtains. The dog's wedge-shaped head and pricked ears are sharply defined against the dimming room, while dust motes drift visibly in the narrow shafts of remaining light. Soft shadows pool around the muzzle, showing the breed's distinct facial structure and weathered dignity. Foreground elements blur into soft circles of color, drawing focus to the animal's alert gaze. The heavy drapes frame the window where fading natural light meets the interior. Fine hairs on the neck stand out in the dim glow, and a brass ring on the curtain rod catches a faint reflection.
