Sequined Gown With Giant Flower in Lusaka Corridor

Warm candlelight pools across a narrow backstage corridor in Lusaka, illuminating a model wearing a gown densely covered in silver sequins that catch the blue spill from the stage beyond. Shadows settle into the corners where rough concrete meets painted plaster. One flower has grown to the height of a tree in the center of the hall, its massive petals unfurling inches from the ceiling. The model stands in perfect symmetry, her posture rigid and poised against the impossible botanical giant. Blue light reflects off the sequins while the candle flames flicker low, casting dancing amber highlights on the model's skin and the towering flower's green stem. One sequin on the gown's hem rests on the floor, catching the reflection of the flower's lowest petal.
