Sea Glass Rust Stone Projector Study Dubrovnik
by Abby Baldwin
A dark room holds a scattered arrangement of sea glass, rusted metal fragments, and wet stones against a shadowed wall. Beams of projected light carve sharp geometric shapes across the floor, illuminating the translucent green and amber glass while casting deep shadows behind the rough, oxidized surfaces. The wet stones glisten with a slick, dark sheen where the light hits them, creating soft, muted reflections that stretch across the floorboards. These reflections form a mirrored composition, doubling the scattered objects and the angular beams of light. The early summer night outside is sealed away, leaving only the rhythmic, geometric energy of the illuminated fragments and their dark, liquid duplicates on the ground. A jagged edge of rust catches the beam, glowing with an orange hue against the black floor.
