Sand Flowing Hourglass on Dusty Library Table

Golden sand cascades through the narrow neck of a glass hourglass resting on a weathered wooden table. The setting sun streams through a window, casting warm, amber pools of light across the dusty surface and the thick layer of silt coating the wood. Fine grains tumble in a continuous, vibrant stream, catching the low-angle sunlight that highlights their texture against the dark glass. Quiet shadows stretch along the nearby walls, against the bright, energetic motion of the falling sand. One grain pauses momentarily at the bottom before joining the growing pile, its edge sharp against the smooth glass curve.
