Sand Cat in Autumn Burrow Georgia Dawn

Low-hanging clouds filter the pale morning light into a soft, diffused glow over the Georgia autumn landscape. The earthy burrow entrance frames a sand cat crouched in patient stillness, its tawny fur blending seamlessly with the dry, golden grasses and fallen leaves scattered across the ground. Mist rests on the low vegetation, softening the edges of the surrounding scrub. The cat’s amber eyes are fixed forward, ears perked, while the cool dawn air settles over the textured soil and tufts of dormant vegetation. One shadow stretches from the burrow rim onto the damp earth.
