A ceramic bust of a saint sits on a weathered stone ledge in the Piazza Pretoria, its surface catching the bright winter noon light. The white marble figure shows signs of age with small chips along the ear and a faint shadow cast by the high sun. Behind the statue, the ornate fountain basin remains dry and empty, reflecting the pale blue sky above the surrounding buildings. One dried leaf rests against the base of the statue, highlighting the texture of the aged stone.
