Rowing Boat in Venice

A wooden rowing boat rests quietly against a mossy stone wall in a narrow Venetian canal during the deep blue twilight. The hull reflects the fading sky in its dark, wet surface while a single oar leans casually against the gunwale. Faint amber light spills from a nearby window, casting long shadows across the rippling water below. A small brass cleat on the boat’s prow catches the last glimmer of daylight.
