Pale cream lassi fills a tall clear glass, topped with scattered deep pink rose petals that rest on the frothy surface. The glass sits on the wire grid of a metal cooling rack, its silver bars casting thin, sharp shadows across the drink. Indirect morning light bounces off surrounding pale walls, creating soft, diffused highlights on the curved glass and the droplets of condensation clinging to the lower half. The dry season air leaves the surface of the liquid smooth and unbroken. A faint reflection of the wire grid appears on the table beneath the rack.
