Steel spreader bars and wooden cribbing blocks rest on a concrete deck inside a covered delivery bay along a scaffolded facade in Harajuku. Chalked white set points mark precise locations on the weathered surface. Deep shadows dominate the foreground while a thin rim of pale dawn light outlines the steel edges and the vertical scaffolding poles. Early autumn mist thickens the air, softening the distant building lines and turning the steel a cool, muted grey. Dust motes hang suspended in the faint light filtering through the open bay entrance. The composition pulls attention along the diagonal lines of the cribbing toward the bright, hazy opening where the city begins to wake.
