Raindrops Bursting on Valley Puddle at Sunrise Haiti

Pale orange light from the rising sun spills across a wide valley floor in Haiti, illuminating a shallow puddle where raindrops explode into tiny, temporary crowns. The water surface acts as a dark mirror, catching the first rays of dawn while dramatic, heavy clouds loom overhead in shades of slate and charcoal. Individual droplets freeze in mid-air, their impacts sending ripples outward in perfect circles against the stillness. The dry season air leaves the surrounding earth dusty and cracked, against the sudden wetness. One droplet hangs suspended above a ripple, catching the golden edge of the horizon before falling back into the dark water.
