Punk Band Plays Beside Blast Furnace in Winter

Dappled sunlight falls through bare, skeletal branches to strike a makeshift stage built beside a massive blast furnace in Hanover. Four musicians thrash across the grating platform, their denim and leather jackets stark against the gray winter air. A metallic haze lingers above the floor, catching the low afternoon light that falls across their instruments. Leading lines of the industrial walkway draw toward the chaotic motion of the band. The furnace looms in the background, its cooling metal glowing faintly orange. A guitar strap rests against a cold, riveted steel beam at the edge of the frame.
