Thick smoke rises from the mouths of several men standing in a row against a weathered concrete wall. The wide view shows a side entrance to a large civic building, its heavy metal doors slightly ajar. Bright tropical light floods the scene, casting sharp, dark shadows beneath the figures. Above, low-hanging clouds obscure the sky, creating a stark contrast with the intense ground illumination. The men wear heavy coats and traditional head coverings, their breath visible in the cold air. Dust motes swirl in the sunbeams hitting the dusty pavement. A faint plume of gray smoke drifts upward, breaking the sharp lines of the building's architecture.
