Prosecco Flute with Peach Slice Under Vientiane Circus Tent

A crystal flute filled with pale gold prosecco stands in deep shadow against the dark canvas of a circus tent. A thin slice of ripe peach rests on the rim, its fuzzy skin catching a sharp line of twilight rim light. The liquid inside holds a few suspended bubbles, glowing faintly where the light grazes the glass edge. Behind the glass, the rough weave of the tent fabric fades into darkness, suggesting the vast interior of the Vientiane venue. The dry season air leaves the peach skin slightly matte while the glass remains slick. A faint reflection of the tent's structural pole runs vertically along the side of the flute, at the base of the object in the specific geometry of the performance space.
