The clay pieces range from deep earthy browns to pale terracotta, their matte surfaces absorbing the dim light. Muted reflections shimmer faintly on the polished concrete floor, mirroring the cool air. Stacks of raw clay sit nearby in woven sacks, while the kiln's brick interior glows with a residual orange warmth. The potter's hands move steadily, adjusting a tall vase before sliding the shelf into the firing chamber. A final reflection of the open door stretches across the floor, marking the boundary between the cool evening and the hot interior.
