A weathered, rust-speckled mailbox stands sentinel beside a peeling white door, its metal surface damp with condensation. On the threshold, a pair of well-worn leather boots rests near a discarded newspaper, while a faded red mug sits on a small wooden stool, steam barely visible in the cool air. The scene is quiet but lived-in, with wet pavement reflecting the muted colors of the surrounding houses. One raindrop slides down the mailbox's hinge, catching the faint light.
