Intense monsoon light streams through the glass roof of the Moradabad arcade, striking the performer standing at a silver microphone. The Dutch angle tilt slants the wooden pillars and metal frames, creating a dynamic, unbalanced geometry. The poet wears a dark kurta, hands raised near the mic head, while wet pavement outside reflects the bright sky. Sharp shadows fall across the floorboards, against the tropical brightness filtering through the panes above. A faint reflection of the poet's face appears on the polished metal base of the stand.
