Plastic Crates in Liverpool

A weathered wooden bench sits on a sun-bleached stone ledge overlooking the Liverpool waterfront under flat noon light. Two faded blue plastic crates rest side by side on the bench, one containing a crumpled white newspaper and the other holding a pair of worn leather gloves. The bright overhead sun casts short, sharp shadows beneath the crates, highlighting the rough texture of the stone surface. One silver coin lies near the edge of the ledge, catching a small glint of reflection against the dull gray pavement.
