Inside the crate, a few bruised apples and a crumpled receipt sit beside a tarnished tea infuser spoon, left behind by a late-night takeaway. The rough texture of the damp brick contrasts with the smooth, glossy finish of the lacquered wood, while puddles ripple with the vibration of passing traffic. A folding fan lies open on the ground, its paper surface stained with rain, catching the ambient city light.
