Plant Pot in Krakow

A green ceramic plant pot sits on a stone windowsill inside a Krakow apartment, catching the warm glow of the summer evening. The pot holds a cluster of tall lemongrass stalks that lean slightly toward the fading daylight outside the glass. Dust motes drift in the slanted light beams, settling on the rough texture of the ancient window frame. A small silver paring knife rests on the sill next to the pot, its blade reflecting the last orange hues of the sky.
