Peruvian Woman Spinning Alpaca Wool in Temple Courtyard

Bright midmorning light falls through a light drizzle, glistening on wet stone tiles in a temple courtyard near Dibrugarh. A Peruvian woman sits cross-legged on a woven mat, her hands actively twisting white alpaca wool into yarn. Her clothing features traditional Andean patterns, against the grey sky and damp earth. Late autumn leaves, turning brown and yellow, scatter across the wet ground. Raindrops bead on the fibers of the spinning wool and the woman's shawl. The stone architecture of the temple courtyard frames the figure, its weathered surfaces reflecting the overcast sky. Her focused expression and the rhythmic motion of her fingers remain the center of attention. one drop of water rolls down the edge of a stone pillar nearby.
