A musician sits cross-legged on woven cushions, fingers poised over the curved neck of a Persian tar. The instrument's dark wood contrasts with the pale stone walls of the Quito structure, which features an arched skylight overhead. Fine rain streaks across the open entrance, blurring the distant mountain horizon while the interior remains dry and crisp.
