Painter Whitewashing Zagreb Wall at Dawn

Early winter morning light strikes the rough plaster of a Zagreb building as a painter applies thick white wash to the facade. From an over-the-shoulder view, the worker's arm extends with steady control, dragging a wide brush across the textured surface. The fresh white paint creates a stark contrast against the older, weathered gray stone beneath. Dramatic clouds hang low in the sky, their undersides glowing with the first rays of sunrise that cut through the cool air. The brush bristles splay slightly under pressure, leaving a wet, uneven trail that glistens in the pale light. A small patch of untouched brick remains near the window frame, highlighting the progression of the work.
