A weathered leather basketball rests on the rough concrete ledge of a Boston street corner, its pebbled surface catching the sharp afternoon light. The deep orange hue of the ball contrasts with the grey stone, highlighting the scuffs and dirt accumulated from years of play. Behind the ball, a blurred chain-link fence and a glimpse of a red brick building establish the urban setting clearly. A small patch of dry grass grows through a crack in the pavement near the base of the wall.
