Neon-Lit Rough-In Wall Zakho Lobby Evening

Cool blue evening light fills the unfinished lobby in Zakho, where exposed electrical conduits snake across raw plaster walls. Neon reflections from overhead work lamps cast sharp, cool streaks along the gray surface, highlighting the texture of fresh cement and the metallic sheen of the pipes. Condensation beads heavily on a nearby glass pane, blurring the view of the street outside. Construction sequencing is evident as sections of the wall remain bare while others show the first layer of drywall. A low angle emphasizes the height of the rough-in work, making the network of wires appear complex and urgent. Dust from early autumn settles on exposed beams and floor debris. One cable runs horizontally, its plastic coating catching the neon glow.
