Overcast skies outside cast a flat, even light, while low sunset reflections pool in orange patches on the damp concrete near the base. The winter air settles into the shadows along the corners, where the light barely reaches. Dust coats every edge, and faint footprints mar the lower sections. Metal conduit ends protrude from the wall, waiting for connection. The scene rests on a foundation of disciplined coordination visible in the precise alignment of the pipes against the unfinished masonry.
