A Mountain Cur stands centered near the rule of thirds against a textured plain plaster wall in Cusco. The dog's coat displays distinct black and tan markings with a coarse, bristly texture visible under the dim window light. Soft interior lamps cast a warm glow that settles into the corners of the room, highlighting the animal's alert ears and defined muzzle. The early evening light creates deep shadows behind the subject while illuminating the fine hairs along the neck.
