Pale morning light spills over the weathered stone steps leading down to a narrow Venetian canal, illuminating the textured plaster walls of a centuries-old palazzo. Striped fabric edges of linens hang from a rusted iron railing, swaying slightly in the damp air above the still, green water. A wooden hand broom rests against the base of the wall, its bristles worn from daily use on the slippery steps. In the background, a small wooden boat is moored, its ropes tied to a stone post. The quiet, lived-in reality of a Venetian morning, where domestic chores blend seamlessly with the historic architecture and the gentle movement of the water below.
