The tent fabric shows signs of wear, with grease stains and frayed seams near the entrance. Outside, the cold air hangs still, illuminated only by the stark beam from the tent's overhead fixture. One pair of heavy boots rests near the threshold, their soles caked with mud and frost, anchoring the scene in the quiet precision of late-night maintenance.
