Mixing Bowl in Beirut

First light falls through the wet air of a Beirut balcony, illuminating a small cluster of everyday objects left out to dry. A ceramic mixing bowl sits on the edge of a stone railing, its curved surface reflecting the soft, gray sky above. Beside it, a wooden spoon rests against a stack of folded laundry, catching the faint sheen of recent rain. Water droplets rest on the rim of the bowl, highlighting the texture of the glaze and the dampness of the morning.
