Misty Alley in Cairo

Mist rests on the limestone facade of a weathered Cairo building, softening the geometric lines of arched windows and casting a cool, diffuse light over the street below. A narrow alleyway opens onto a small courtyard where a local vendor arranges stacks of clay pots near a rusted iron gate. The damp air mutes the colors, turning the terracotta surfaces a deep, earthy brown. In the foreground, a worn wooden table shows thin scratches and scuffed paint, holding a few glass tumblers that catch the faint ambient light. One umbrella stand leans against the wall, its metal surface slick with condensation.
