Mist rests on the weathered stone facade of a Corniche cafe, softening the harsh edges of a rusted iron gate where Item 5, rust around hinge screws, marks years of salt air exposure. A vendor in a faded blue uniform leans over a stainless steel counter, arranging glass bottles, Item 1, that catch the diffuse gray light, their surfaces slick with condensation. Behind him, the chaotic clutter of a working kitchen spills into view: a chipped ceramic bowl, a stack of white plates, and a single recipe card, Item 8, pinned haphazardly to a corkboard stained with grease and time.
