A heavy steel mesh cage stands on the packed earth of a Kathmandu parade ground, its wire walls catching the soft, diffused light of early autumn. Bright midmorning skies push through dramatic, textured clouds that cast shifting gray shadows across the metal surface. Rust stains mark the lower frame where ground moisture has settled, while neatly stacked maintenance parts inside reveal organized military upkeep. The cage occupies the right third of the view, against the open, dusty ground stretching to the left. One bolt head on the cage door reflects a sharp glint of white light against the dull gray of the wire.
