Predawn Key Locker Maintenance in Autumn Rain

Steady rain streaks the dark steel surface of a vertical vehicle dispatch key locker standing on muddy open ground. Pale starlight and faint ground glow reflect off the wet metal, highlighting the condensation dripping from the top edge. Autumn leaves, brown and curled, rest on the damp earth around the locker's base. The heavy black door bears a small, weathered identification plate, its paint chipped by the season's moisture. A maintenance pause leaves the unit closed, with no personnel visible in the immediate frame. Water beads form on the cold rivets and slide slowly down the corrugated side panel. at the edge is a single droplet hanging from the bottom corner, trembling before falling into the puddle below.
