Midday Light on Persimmons in Bangkok

A small cluster of bright orange persimmons rests on a rough wooden surface near a weathered doorframe in a Bangkok alleyway. The overcast midday light diffuses softly across the smooth, waxy skin of the fruit, revealing subtle shadows beneath each one. A chipped blue enamel saucer sits just behind the pile, its glaze worn away to expose the dark metal underneath. Thin green stems still attach to the round fruits, against the dusty texture of the surrounding wood.
