Metro Train Arrives at Ferry Crossing Station

Sunlight breaks through morning fog to illuminate a metro train approaching from the rear. The vehicle moves along tracks set beside a remote ferry crossing near Centro, Rio de Janeiro. Monsoon moisture hangs low, pooling in the depressions between the rails and the station floor. Art murals cover the station walls, their colors deepened by the damp air. First rays of dawn strike the wet metal surfaces, creating sharp, linear reflections. The train occupies the central path, its heavy form against the soft, white mist that rests on the ground. Behind the locomotive, the tracks extend into the brightening sky, leading toward the distant ferry terminal. One puddle on the concrete reflects the red taillights of the train.
