Mandolin Case in Huambo Neon Monsoon Light

A mandolin rests inside an open velvet-lined case centered on a rough stone ledge. Warm rehearsal lamps cast deep amber shadows across the dark interior, illuminating fine particles of rosin dust floating near the strings. The stone surface outside the case reflects cool blue neon hues, creating a sharp color contrast against the wood's rich grain. Monsoon moisture beads on the exterior of the case, catching the electric light in tiny, jagged highlights. The velvet lining absorbs the warm glow, appearing almost black in the corners while the instrument's curves catch the edge of the neon reflection. One scratch on the mandolin's varnish reveals the lighter wood beneath, standing out against the dark case fabric.
