Below, a narrow cobblestone alleyway bustles with late afternoon activity. A street vendor’s cart, painted in faded cobalt blue, overflows with colorful majolica plates stacked haphazardly on wooden crates. A customer in a bright red windbreaker pauses to inspect a chipped saucer, their hand brushing against the glazed ceramic. Nearby, a hand broom leans against a wet stone curb, bristles splayed from recent rain.
