Lotus Blooms in Tin Basins on French Forest Floor

Cold silver dawn light washes over a cluster of tin basins resting directly on a bed of green ferns. Pink lotus blossoms float in the shallow water within the dented metal containers, their petals sharp against the muted gray sky. Low-hanging clouds diffuse the morning brightness, creating a flat, even illumination that highlights the rust spots on the tin rims and the waxy texture of the flower surfaces. The forest floor stretches into a soft blur, showing the stillness of the water and the rigid, industrial curves of the basins. one drop of condensation rests on the edge of a basin, catching the pale light.
