Lawrence River in Quebec City at The Early Afternoon Light

A steel cable car of the Quebec City aerial tramway hangs suspended high above the St. Lawrence River, its red and white exterior against the grey morning fog. The gondola moves steadily between the Upper Town fortress walls and the lower port area, offering a clear view of the river's wide expanse below. Thick mist obscures the distant shoreline, softening the industrial cranes and docks visible in the haze. The metal cables stretch taut across the frame, leading toward the historic stone structures of Old Quebec rising on the left bank. Passengers are faintly visible inside the glass windows as the transport system navigates the steep elevation change under the overcast sky.
